Anyone for salad?

This constant rain has done this to my herb garden.

We have been invaded by salad! So salad for tea every night for the next hundred years!

Tonight we had salad, new potatoes and beef liver in an onion gravy.

T'was delicious.

Wouldn't it be heaven if you could open a recipe book and know you have all the ingredients in the cupboard ready to create a deliciously quick meal.

Unfortunately common recipe books don't take into account the days when you haven't had time to do the weekly shop, you have hungry mouths to feed in twenty minutes or WW3 will be declared, or when you simply can't be bothered but neither your budget nor your figure will allow for yet another Chinese takeaway!
