Ingredients
Tin of chickpeas, Undrained
2 tbslp cornflour
3 tbslp sugar
3 tbslp cold water
3 tbslp vinegar
2 green chillis, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
2 tsps red food colouring (presentation)
Method
1. In a small saucepan, add all ingredients (EXCEPT chickpeas and cornflour)
2. Stir until sugar is melted and just begins to boil
3. Add cornflour
4. Stir until transparent
5. Add chickpeas
6. Cook through
